Manage audience:
An audience is a set of people you want to do outreach to.
On your dashboard, under the Audiences tab, click the + New Audience button.
Fill in the name of your audience and choose how you would like to create your audience. There are four options, namely Search Companies and People, Search People, Upload Companies, and Upload People.
Search Companies and People:
This option allows you to apply filters to refine your company related target audience. You can organize and adjust your filters using the categories. Yes, we have a lot of filters for you to choose from!
Filters:
These are the filters that will effectively and efficiently help you find the correct audience or targets.
Previous Search - this filter will copy the filters you used from the other audiences you made on your account.
Exclusions - previously, we discussed how to manage your exclusions. To use this filter, make sure to create your exclusions first. This will show you all the exclusions that you added on your account.
Size, Age & Status - refers to the scale of a company measured by the number of employees, age of the company, if the company is still running or inactive. ○ Size: You can move the employee count’s radio button from left to right to indicate the number of employees.
Age: Enter the founding date of the target business. You can leave the “To” field blank if the business is still active.
Status: Click the tick box if you are targeting businesses that are only active.
Industry & Keywords - group of companies that make similar products or offer similar services. Keywords: This does a full-text search across the metadata that we have on the company so you can search for detailed things like “heating and plumbing contractors” or “open-source LLM training” and it will find only the companies whose descriptions match that text search.
To ensure we provide you with the best results, the platform has three types of industry you can choose from: Unified, Crunchbase, and LinkedIn.
Unified Industries: Fiber AI’s standardized categories, normalized across multiple sources for consistent targeting (e.g., Software, Healthcare).
Crunchbase Industries: These are industries as listed on their Crunchbase page, which is better for finding on startups and niche emerging industries funding data (e.g., Fintech, Biotech).
LinkedIn Industries: Based on LinkedIn industry classifications (e.g., IT & Services, Marketing).
Funding - this is used to filter on venture backed companies. You can filter on the company stage (preseed, seed, series A, etc.), the total funding amount (including the min and max funding amounts), who their investors are, and what accelerator they went to (if any).
(a) Company Stage: select the specific funding rounds you want to target by ticking the checkbox of the preferred stage. You can check multiple selections. (b) Total Funding Amount: you can filter the total funding instead, by typing the target amount and selecting the unit if it’s thousand (K), million (M) or billion (B). (c) Investors: you can target companies backed by specific investors by typing the name of the investor.
Revenue - Enter the target funding range by specifying the minimum and maximum amounts, then choose the appropriate unit: thousand (K), million (M), or billion (B).
NAICS Codes - (North American Industry Classification System) is a standardized code system used to classify businesses by the type of economic activity they engage in.
You can select any or all of the available options to filter the industries in your search. Type a keyword or code into the field to display matching results.
Geography/Location - refers to the physical location or region of a company or prospect, often used to filter or target businesses based on country, state, city, or region.
Filter by country/region:
You can target specific countries or regions. Select “Any of” to include or “None of” to exclude, then choose your desired country from the displayed list.
Filter by specific establishments:
You can target specific countries or regions. Select “Any of” to include or “None of” to exclude, then choose your desired country from the displayed list.
Filter by miles or radius:
You can target specific countries or regions. Select “Any of” to include or “None of” to exclude, then choose your desired country from the displayed list.
Jobs Posting - you can use this filter to find companies whose LinkedIn job posts match your criteria. You can set the number of applicants, job titles, and the years of experience.
You can choose “Any of”, “All of”, and “None of”. Once decided, you need to click the button next to it to expand your search.
Number of applicants: the range will filter the number of people who applied for the job postings you wish to include.
Job titles: if you wish to filter the positions these people applied for. (e.g., Software Engineer, Customer Service Manager).
Modality: to specify the work location type or where these applicants prefer to work in (e.g., Remote, On-Site, Hybrid).
Job Posting Status: use this filter if you wish to include job postings that are closed, open, or both.
Industries: this allows you to specify which industry these applicants applied for (e.g. Arts & Music, Retail, Travel & Tourism).
Annual pay (USD): set out the annual salary of the applicants you wish to include. Please note that this is in USD currency.
Voila! You’re almost done with the first stage of setting up your audience. Before you proceed to your prospects, there are some things that can enhance your search with us.
This is what it looks like after setting up your filters. Please keep in mind that you can still change the results by modifying the filters again.
On the upper-right corner of the table, you can Export CSV, View, and Copy Filters.
Export CSV - you may use this feature to download a CSV-format document of your results.
View - to view or hide columns in your results. The table shows you limited results, hence use this feature to provide you with more information about the companies.
Copy Filters - to copy the filters you used in the current audience or results.
If you’re ready to choose the people you wish to target, and you’re confident with the results, click the Next: Prospects button located on the lower-right corner of the page.

All good with the filters? Now, it’s time to reveal those prospects according to your desired filters. Click the Search button on the upper-left corner of the table and wait for the result.
You now have the list of your prospects. You can check their contact information one by one, or you can simply click the Submit button on the lower-right corner of the table to save and export these data in one-go. Please make sure to confirm everything before submitting or saving your results.
<aside> ⚠️
Note: The contact information of these people can only be revealed if you have an active usage period.
</aside>
After submitting the list of your prospects, you will be redirected to Your audiences page. It will show you all the audiences you made.
Get all emails + phones:
The audiences table shows you some necessary information about your audience; the name, method, companies, people, enrichment status, and last updated.
The three-dot vertical line of each row allows you to create an exclusion list, rename, duplicate, push to background queue, and delete.
Now, it’s time to get all the emails and phones of your prospects. Click the Get all emails + phone button of the audience you wish to retrieve information from.
Now, it’s time to get all the emails and phones of your prospects. Click the Get all emails + phone button of the audience you wish to retrieve information from.
Before you proceed, please make sure to thoroughly read the background processes that we do to ensure we provide you with the best up-to-date results. We re-do the search from our various reliable data sources in real-time. We try to find more data for you, and add them to your audience.
Here’s what we do as part of the process (we show you the estimated time of each background process, it usually takes significantly less time, but this is the upper bound of how long it will take):
● Yield Enhancement - Running your search over several data sources to find new companies and prospects for your audience. This helps us maximize your yield.
● LinkedIn Live Fetching - Fetching the latest information about your prospects, fresh from their LinkedIn pages. This ensures you don't have any stale data.
● Phone & Email Waterfall - Looking up your prospects across industry-specific "waterfalls" to fetch candidate phone numbers and both work and personal emails from a variety of data sources.
● Validation & Quality Check - Running validation waterfalls on found emails and phones to ensure they won't bounce.
● Email Sent - Once the run is complete, we’ll send you an email with the company and prospect details — including contact information like email and phone numbers, based on your selections.
Moreover, you have the option which information you’d like to collect. Options include: Work emails, Personal emails, and Phone numbers. If you wish to get the maximum number of prospects, you may do so by using the number field under Max. prospects.
<aside> ⚠️
Note: Make sure to have enough credits on your account to run an enrichment. Otherwise, upgrade your plan. Also, once the enrichment process has started, the audience will be locked and become read-only for future edits.
</aside>
To view your audience, you may click the View (eye icon) button.

Advanced Scrapes:
One of the best parts of our platform is the Advanced Scrapes. This allows you to scrape a wide variety of customer URLs to get exhaustive lists of companies or prospects.
You may scrape these on the interface: Sales Nav People, LinkedIn Followers, and Google Maps. To start, click which category you wish to scrape.
Sales Nav People - Sales Navigator people search URL. Choose Scrape Sales Nav People from the categories and click the New Scrape button. Fill in the Scrape Name, Sales Nav URL, and the Maximum prospects to scrape. Then, click the Start Scraping button. We convert these search filters to our Fiber search and are able to get the people you want to target, and create an audience for you.
LI Followers - Choose a company under the Following company dropdown button by searching its name. Then, enter the maximum number of prospects to scrape (Note: results are capped at ~25,000 prospects). Once ready, hit the Start scraping button.
Additional lead filters - these filters will help you get a more targeted list. Every filter has options to include and exclude categories or keywords.
Job Titles - use this filter to include and/or exclude job positions (e.g., Software engineer, Customer Relationship Manager).
Profile geography - use this filter to include and/or exclude locations or regions (e.g., Australia, China).
Job Function - use this filter to include and/or exclude job categories or fields (e.g., Accounting, Product Management).
Industry - use this filter to include and/or exclude job industries (e.g., Armed Forces, Blogs).
Google Maps - scrape location’s information by filling in the query and its exact address. You have to fill in the Project Name to easily identify the project later. Then, fill in your search query accordingly; please search your query first on Google Map to ensure we provide you with an accurate result (e.g., Book stores, Car Repair Shop). The succeeding steps require you to be specific about its location, hence you must choose the Search Strategy properly.
Specific Regions - this allows the product to search your query over specific regions (e.g. US Counties or arbitrary circles). You can combine different areas to get more comprehensive coverage.
USA Cities - search within USA cities. You can select one or more cities. (e.g. San Francisco, California; Los Angeles, California).
USA Counties - search within USA counties. You can select one or more counties. (e.g. New Hanover County, North Carolina; Amador County, California).
USA Metro Areas - search within USA Metro Areas. You can select one or more metro areas. (e.g. New Hanover County, North Carolina; Amador County, California).
Circle - search within some radius of a given center point (e.g. San Francisco). Once filled in, you need to use the Within miles range to specify the distance or radius.
Rectangle - search within two coordinate inputs (northwest corner and southeast corner). Please make sure to know the exact coordinates for us to provide you with accurate results. A map preview will show you the circle and rectangle
filters you made (Note: Cities appear in blue, counties in green, metro areas in red, circles in purple, and rectangles in orange).
Entire USA - this filter allows you to search across the entire United States automatically. No succeeding filters or configuration needed.
Note: The filter Max. locations to findallows you to control the number of locations to scrape, as every location with a phone number will be charged from your credits or account. Please make sure to set this filter to limit the number of locations you wish to scrape.
View and Export Scraped Data:
All of your scraped data is shown on the Advanced Scrapes page. Click a category (Scrape Sales Nav People, Scrape LI Followers, and Scrape Google Maps) and a table containing all your past scrapes will be displayed.
To view a past scrape, click the eye button located next to the Status column.
To export your scraped data as a CSV file, you may click the Export CSV button located on the upper-right corner of the table. It will automatically download and save on your computer, and doesn’t require you to check it on the Exports page.
API Keys:
To get access to our API (Application Programming Interface), you need to create an API Key by clicking the API on the left side of the screen, under the Management category.
To create a new key, click the Create new key button on the upper-right corner of the page.
Fill in the Key Name and hit the Create button.
Once generated, please make sure to copy your API key and save it in a secure location. Note: For security reasons, you won’t be able to retrieve or view your key next time, therefore make sure to save it. Additionally, the image above was altered to ensure we don’t provide an existing API Key – it is just an example image (an API key is composed of letters, numbers, and an underscore character; no asterisk).
Manage your API Keys on the API Keys page; you can see how many keys were generated, the creation date, and an option to delete them.
API Documents
To utilize the API Keys you generated, you may visit this link: https://api.fiber.ai/. All instructions on how to use it can be found on the documents. Examples of the products you can use with your API Keys are: Poll combined search, People Search, Start fetching person’s contact details, and Start bulk contact details fetching.
Fiber MCP Server - User Guide
Overview
The Fiber MCP Server connects AI assistants (any client that supports the Model Context Protocol, MCP) to the Fiber API, enabling natural language questions with real-time data about people, companies, jobs, and more.
Two MCP Endpoints
Fiber provides two MCP endpoints for different use cases:
Endpoint | URL | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
Core MCP |
| API discovery, schema inspection, and flexible API calls |
API MCP |

Recommendation: Choose the setup that fits your LLM and workflow:
Your Situation | Recommendation | Why? |
|---|---|---|
Small Context Window(e.g., local models, older LLMs) | Use Core MCP Only ( | Exposes only 4 tools. The AI searches for what it needs on demand, keeping your context window clean. |
Large Context / Power User(e.g., Claude 3.5 Sonnet, GPT-4o) | Use Both | Gives the AI immediate access to common tools (via API MCP) while keeping the flexibility to find anything else (via Core MCP). |
Specific Workflow | Use API MCP Only | If you only need specific tools (e.g., just |

How to Use
Once configured, you can ask your AI assistant questions in natural language. The AI will automatically use the Fiber MCP server to find and call the right API endpoints.
Example Questions You Can Ask
Finding Contact Information
"Find the email address for Jane Doe at Acme Corp"
"Get me the email and phone for someone named John Smith at a company with domain example.com"
"Find contact information for the CTO at Stripe"
How it works: The AI uses the appropriate API to find the person by name and company, then triggers the contact enrichment endpoint to retrieve email and phone details.
Finding People
"Find software engineers in San Francisco with 5+ years of experience"
"Show me data scientists who worked at Google"
"Find profiles matching: VP of Sales, B2B SaaS companies, remote"
Finding Companies
"Find companies in the fintech space in New York with 50-200 employees"
"Show me B2B SaaS companies in San Francisco that raised Series A funding"
"What companies are in the AI/ML space with similar employee counts to OpenAI?"
Enriching Profiles and Companies
"Enrich the profile for someone with LinkedIn URL https://linkedin.com/in/johndoe"
"Get me detailed information about a person with email john@example.com"
"Live enrich the company with domain fiber.ai"
Reverse Lookups
"Find the profile for someone with email jane@acme.com"
"What company has the domain example.com?"
Combined Searches
"Find decision makers at B2B SaaS companies with 100-500 employees in the healthcare industry"
"Get me VPs of Sales at fintech companies in New York"
Job Searches
"Find software engineering jobs in New York"
"Show me remote Python developer positions"
What the AI Can Do
The AI assistant has access to tools from both MCP servers:
Core MCP Tools (fiber-mcp)
search_endpoints - Find the right API endpoint for your question using semantic search
list_all_endpoints - Browse all available API endpoints, optionally filtered by tags
get_endpoint_details_full - Get complete schema, parameters, and examples for any endpoint
call_operation - Execute any API operation with proper parameters
Direct API Tools (fiber-mcp-api)
Pre-built tools for common high-priority operations:
Tool | Description |
|---|---|
| Search for companies with filters (industry, size, funding, etc.) |
| Search for people with filters (title, location, experience, etc.) |
| Get real-time LinkedIn profile data |
| Get real-time LinkedIn company data |
| Get email and phone for a LinkedIn profile |
| Check your organization's API credit balance |
Tip: The API MCP tools are faster for common operations since they don't require searching for the right endpoint first.
Tips for Best Results
Be Specific
Good: "Find email for Jane Doe, VP of Engineering at Stripe"
Bad: "Get me an email"
Include Context
Good: "Find the CTO's email at a company with domain fiber.ai"
Bad: "Find an email"
Use Natural Language
You don't need to know API endpoints or technical details. Just ask naturally:
"Who works at OpenAI?"
"What companies are in the AI space?"
"Find me contact info for decision makers at SaaS companies"
Multiple Steps
The AI can chain multiple API calls:
"First find companies in fintech, then get me the CEO's email for each"
Common Use Cases
Sales Prospecting
"Find decision makers at B2B SaaS companies with 100-500 employees"
"Get me emails for VPs of Sales at companies in the healthcare industry"
"Find founders of AI startups that raised funding recently"
Recruiting
"Find software engineers in San Francisco with 5+ years experience"
"Show me profiles of data scientists who worked at Google"
"Get contact info for candidates matching: Python, remote, senior level"
Market Research
"What companies are in the fintech space in New York?"
"Show me companies that raised Series B funding in the last 6 months"
"Find competitors in the AI/ML space with similar employee counts"
Lead Enrichment
"Enrich this profile: john@example.com"
"Get me full details for someone named Sarah at Acme Corp"
"Find and enrich profiles for people with this LinkedIn URL: https://linkedin.com/in/johndoe"
Troubleshooting
