Scouting report
A one-call briefing on a company — news, founders, funding, media, open roles, and headcount history.
Scouting report
A scouting report is the briefing you'd want before a first call or an investment meeting, in one request. Send a company; we put together recent news, the founders, funding, media appearances, open roles, and how headcount has changed over time.

|---|---|
| News | Recent articles with headline, link, date, a short summary, and sentiment |

| Funding | Stage, total raised, the last round's size and date, and investors |
| Milestones | Notable company events with dates |
| Media | YouTube videos and podcast appearances |
| Blog posts | The company's own recent posts |
| Open roles | Current job postings with title, location, and posting date |
| Headcount history | Employee count over time |

A report takes 1–2 minutes to put together, so set a client timeout of at least 2 minutes. The endpoint allows 120 requests per minute.
Using it effectively
- Run it before meetings, not on whole lists. It's built for depth on one company; for many companies, search and Tracker scale better.
- Feed it to an agent. The sections map cleanly onto a meeting-prep summary or an account brief.
- Pair it with talent flow to see where the company hires from, not just how fast. See Talent flow.
Credits
6 credits per report. If we can't find the company (404) or can't build a report for it, you aren't charged. See Billing & credits.
Credit amounts are defaults — custom pricing is available for bulk use cases.
